After 20 years of being a Telecom customer, I decided to switch over to Vodafone. There were two critical things that prompted and assisted the transition.
2. Number Portability
If Vodafone didn't get sole Access to Iphone, then I woudnt have even thought about joining them.
If number potability was not in place, then I wouldn't have bothered switching my home phone and broadband connection.
The transition was much less painful than I anticipated. While Vodafone help desk is virtually impossible to get through, the team at Vodafone Lambton Quay store provided great customer service. Special thanks to Stepanie who is a great example for what customer care should be like.
I experienced couple of hick-ups when the my home internet connection was taken over by Vodafone. Stephanie promptly apologised for the mistakes (totally out of her control), got on the phone to their technical team and managed to sort out my issues ... fantastic service wit a great smile. Hope the technician will turn up to my home and sort out the inferior connection issues as they promised within 48 hours.
